I planned on finishing this in time for Halloween, but things happen. Better late than never, I suppose!

If you've read Sonic the Hedgehog #265, then you've seen this version of Mighty before. I've dubbed him Mighty the Armadevil. Clever, yeah? ←～（o ｀▽´ )oΨ

I didn't really have much of a plot while coming up with this picture, I just wanted to draw something creepy. I'll leave it up to your imagination to figure out what might be going on: is this just a terrifying hallucination the Werehog is having of an innocent Mighty, or has Mighty actually become demonic? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While I can appreciate some scary stuff, the horror genre isn't really a strong interest of mine; I'm actually quite squeamish compared to most people. People know me for my cuteness and vibrant color choice, so it's fun to try something a bit different; step outside your comfort zone, so to speak. That being said, don't expect too many pictures like this from me in the future.

Process + Tools Used: Sketch was done in Paint Tool SAI and then printed out to be transferred onto white cardstock paper via light table.

Color, outlines, and details were done in COPiC markers, Prismacolor fineliner and white gel pen.
Slight touch-ups and color adjustments at the end were done in Photoshop 7.

I like the blend of colors to be honest, and how the main colors seem to be red, black, and white, so that other colors, like the gold/yellow/orange on his shoes act like highlights! The hand at the bottom is a nice touch in itself because it can imply one of several things, being a defeated Werehog, or a losing fight from the someone's point of view. I think it adds to the picture, even if the focus is on Mighty. Which, in accordance to the Rule of Thirds, I like that this was not a straight forward centered picture, but slightly to the side with the ability to appreciate the background as well, which adds to the picture also rather than something bland and unneeded. So great job and great picture!
